Mission Statement
The Creative Music Guild is an Oregon non-profit organization whose mission is to promote new music that advances the arts of improvisation and composition.
The Guild's focus is on jazz-related music that is artistically vital but under-represented in Portland, Oregon area performances. We present concerts and an educational forum where artists can convey the theory, practice, multi-cultural nature, and spirit of jazz to succeeding generations.
